k20a civic type-r 294hp 254nm

hellou just finished our engine for the euro civic type-r with an outstanding dyno number 294hp 254nm torque from the engine.

Parts used:

K20a2 stock 200hp engine in a 2003 EP3 civic type-R
CP pistons with 13.0 compression
Skunk2 stage 2 camshafts
Hondata K-pro
RBC Intake Manifold
Skunk2 valves and retainers
H-beam Wiseco Rods
Ported head
Toda Racing exhaust manifold
750cc injectors
AEM fuel rail
with E85 bioethanol

Also brand new ´Hasport Race mounts were installed custom 2.5" exhaust

We went to Estonian Dragrace Championships and tried it out on 1/4 mile

13.205@168.33km/h with slicks and car weight over 1200kg( sorry for the european measurments)

Next race will be in the 11th of july. In estonia we race on old russian airfields with no glue on the track so its hard to get maximum grip

Yes the plan is to put the engine on something else. Actually we was thinking going oldschool with a 81 civic body on EG frame but lets see. This year it will stay on this "fatso" because season is untill september and races every week in Estonia and Latvia

Actually the car looks nice as it is. Custom made bumpers etc.etc.

Today was a testday and 13.145@170km/h and bad traction. MTslicks are 4 years old. from the time I used to race. Maybe someone can help in sweden with new slicks. 24.5x8x15

New shell found. Actually its my old shell 1999 Honda Integra so this is where it is going. with me the car weights 985kg and I am 115kg. the ep3 was 1202 with 103kg driver. Also the ITR has a stronger JDM gearbox all the harnees and wirejob is done aso Hasport Race engine mounts for K20 conversion. When we start this project it will be allnew stuff will be done. no interior no AC no ABS 6 point rollcage Performance fuel tank 20 litre in the back for track racing and some 4-5litre tank do the front for better weight balance in the front.

Let me explain one more thing why we are planning 2 fuel tanks. Because on track we dont need so much power and E85 is only sold in Latvia we are making the car with two fuel systems also the hondata will have 2 settings. Hardcore bang on for the dragrace and a more conservative some 270-275 hp setting for track. track doesnt need so much revs because we are going for stage 3 setting I estimate with full power and hardcore setting the car will go up to 9500+ RPM

Hmm Sometime has passed and there was no sale on this car so we keep on going. New JDM Gearbox is the main thing. Also we are planning to install ITB prostage cams and lose some weight. The car is going from streetlegal to fullblooded racing. Interior is coming all out and also plastic doors lexan windows and as much as we can get down on weight. A smaller petrol tank. My ITR which was the original plan I sold and its looking at a k24/k20 engine soon to be fitted in. We also are going to use Spirt type fuel. It shoulb be an intresting combo. All our team are planning to come to sweden as well to participate in some races. Someone should let us know when something intresting is going on.

FN2 should be alot heavier I think so maybe thats not a good idea. Also, in my opinion, the FN2 does not have the looks
