I found a sheared cable just inside where the cables go from the door into the B-pillar, was a major PITA getting all of the plastic and clips off to get at it but I finally got my LR door central locking working again What i did FWIW was to check for continuity between the central control unit in the drivers footwell and the connector that operates the actuator I discovered that I had a broken circuit on one of the wires from there it was just a case of accessing the cables and the connector in the B-pillar to pinpoint where the cable was sheared, in my case right inside the rubber boot that goes between door and car.
